I have been a frequent visitor to Sun Peaks BC, Canada and if you ski/board you NEED to read this.
Sun Peaks is a 45 minute drive from Kamloops Airport. Westjet and Air Canada provide direct flights from Vancouver, Calgary & Victoria. From LHR we travel to Vancouver and then its a quick 50 minute flight to Kamloops.
There are great shuttle options if you don`t want to drive. One way is as little as $55 CAD per person inc luggage and skis.
The alpine village features 9 hotels and lodges lining a ski through village, alongside over 45 restaurants and shops. Three interconnecting mountains encircle the pedestrian only village and are covered in light, dry snowfall thats complemented by award winning grooming. I can confirm the grooming is impeccable.
Off the slopes the Après is on point, and the available activities include snowshoeing, fondue and a night ski and ice fishing.
